Designed in collaboration between Tomoko Ceramics and Nora Okafor, each teacup is a one-of-a-kind, functional work of art. Handcrafted in California, these glazed stoneware pieces blend Tomoko Ceramics’ modern Japanese sensibility with Nora Okafor’s vibrant color palette.

Each cup is monogrammed with the Adinkra symbol BESE SAKA — the “sack of cola nuts,” a West African emblem of affluence, power, abundance, and unity. A perfect vessel for quiet moments and shared rituals alike — drink to your health and to connection across cultures.
